POLICE OFFICER

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The City of Hemphill is looking for a full-time Police Officer responsible for performing police patrol, investigation, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and related enforcement activities.  Must have skill and proficiency in the use of firearms, weapons, radio equipment, radar, the use of a police vehicle in emergency and non-emergency situations.  Must be willing to do shift work and work weekends and holidays.  Texas Licensed Peace Officer, TCOLE Certified, in good standing is a requirement.  Must pass a background investigation, interview, pre-employment physical, psychological screening, and drug screen.  MUST COMPLETE THE PERSONAL HISTORY STATEMENT OFF OF THE TCOLE WEB-PAGE AND SUBMIT WITH YOUR APPLICATION AND OTHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION.
